Mauricio Pochettino has endured perhaps his worst week in charge of Chelsea.

The Blues have twice conceded four goals in a game over the past few days, following up their 4-1 reversal at Liverpool with a 4-2 home loss to Wolves on Sunday.

Pochettino’s side remain hugely inconsistent, though their cause has certainly not been helped by the sheer number of injuries they’ve had to deal with.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Chelsea injuries…

Reece James

Reece James has continued to struggle with injury problems this season and underwent hamstring injury back in December.

“It is always tough for a player with a very complicated, difficult season for him,” said Pochettino of his captain.

“Now is the process to start to recover. One day less until he is part of the group and we are going to take it in a positive way because the most important thing is to start to solve the problem and of course, help him to be strong, being positive.”

Potential return date: Unknown

Levi Colwill

Levi Colwill is enjoying his first season in the senior squad at Stamford Bridge but suffered an injury during the warm-up before the goalless draw with Aston Villa in the FA Cup last month.

He duly missed the defeat to Wolves after Pochettino last week said: “I don’t believe [he has a chance of being in the squad vs Wolves]. Today [Friday] he didn’t train.

“We will see tomorrow. At the moment, we will see the evolution.”

Potential return date: Unknown

Trevoh Chalobah

While it has looked unlikely Trevoh Chalobah would feature under Pochettino this season, he could feasibly boost defensive numbers after returning to the first-team training.

Potential return date: February

Romeo Lavia

Summer signing Romeo Lavia has mustered only one appearance since joining from Southampton, injuring his thigh after arriving at the club with an ankle problem.

There is no timeframe on the Belgian’s return.

Robert Sanchez

Fellow summer arrival Robert Sanchez is working his way back up to full fitness following a knee problem but has avoided the need for surgery.

Potential return date: Unknown

Marc Cucurella

Marc Cucurella underwent ankle surgery in December and was expected to miss around 3 months of action.

Potential return date: March/April 2024

Lesley Ugochukwu

Lesley Ugochukwu injured his hamstring against Wolves on Christmas Eve and was expected to miss around six weeks of action.

Potential return date: February/March 2024

Wesley Fofana

Wesley Fofana seems unlikely to play again this season after suffering a serious knee injury during the summer.

Potential return date: Summer 2024
