Fisher, a product of Sheriff Hutton Bridge, took 31 County Championship wickets in 11 matches, which included a career-best 11-134 against Nottinghamshire last month.
The one-time Test-capped player is joined by Surrey teammate Tom Lawes in the 18-man squad, whilst Yorkshire CCC’s only representative is Matthew Revis, called up to the Lions for the first time.

“At the same time, these players will get a sense of what an away Ashes series is all about.
“Our coaching staff is looking forward to working with them to embrace that opportunity and help to build the experiences and skills that will benefit their careers.”
The Lions will assemble in Australia in early November ahead of matches in Perth, Canberra and Brisbane.
After arriving in Perth, they will play England Men in a three-day warm-up match from November 13 ahead of the first Ashes Test, before a four-day match against a Cricket Australia XI and a two-day night-match against a Prime Ministers XI in Canberra.
