The Islanders fell to 59-6, but were able to rebuild to post 158 thanks to a valiant 48 by Ellis Ridett.
Due to some relatively toothless bowling, Burridge strolled through their run chase, making the target in 32.3 overs.
Ventnor’s second team got off to a flying start with an 161 run partnership opening the innings between Ben Davies and Hugh Calloway, before collapsing to 199-6 in their allotted 45 overs.
Opposition XI Cadnam, however, made their DLS revised target of 158 with overs to spare, as Ventnor’s bowling attack failed to make an impact.

Georgie Gobby took three wickets for Arreton, while Joshua White carried his bat for 60.
Newport’s women’s team also claimed victory over Arreton, chasing 115 with two overs to spare.
