Laila Moledina has continued her run of good form with the bat and scored another century to help Somerset Under 18 girls to a six-wicket victory over their Devon counterparts at Thorverton CC last week, writes Richard Walsh.
After the home side were dismissed for 199 in 40.1 overs, Moledina opened the innings and made an unbeaten 100 from 88 balls with 19 fours to see Somerset to 200-4 in the 30th over.

Three days later, the 17-year-old turned out for her club side Langford in the Gloucestershire Cricket League and shared an unbroken opening partnership of 324 in 40 overs with brother Zak, her contribution being 137 off 119 balls with 21 fours.
The Somerset boys under 16s were in ECB County Cup action against Gloucestershire at Taunton Vale.
Batting first, the home side posted 318-9 from their 50 overs, Harvey Coleman making 106 off 102 balls with 115 fours and a six during which he added 132 for the seventh wicket with Thomas Watson, who hit a run a ball 54, with five fours and two sixes.
Watson then changed bat for ball and claimed six for 44 off 9.5 overs as the visitors were restricted to 297 for eight.

The Somerset boys under 18s’ three-day game against Gloucestershire, also at Taunton Vale in the ECB Championship, was a high-scoring affair.
Batting first, Somerset amassed 575-8 declared, of which 15-year-old Theo Lamey made 213 off 196 balls, with 27 fours and six sixes, and Seb Linnitt scored 140 off 156 with 21 fours and three sixes.
The visitors replied with 294 all out, Joe Heywood taking four for 37 off 14.5 overs, three maidens, while spinner Mo Kaleem ended with three for 63 from 16 with one maiden.
Following on, Gloucestershire reached 301 for seven in the second innings, Kian Roberts taking three for 66 from his 14 overs, with three maidens.
