Covid-19: Australian Open competitors practice in isolation hotels

Competitors in the Australian Open are having to practice in slightly different circumstances this year.

Some of them must stay inside, following positive Covid cases on inbound flights.

Artem Sitak, a doubles player, said: “It’s not completely ruined but it’s not the same now.”

He added that after they come out of quarantine they’ll be a “little bit rusty”.
